From 6 months to 1 year
At the time of food diversification, follow-on milk remains the essential element of baby’s diet from 6 months to 1 year.
Guigoz 2 meets the nutritional needs of your baby from 6 months to 1 year old as part of a diversified diet with in particular:
- Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an essential fatty acid from the Omega 3 family that contributes to the development of brain and nervous tissue.
- Iron needed by the immune system
- Calcium and vitamin D that help build bones
- An adjusted protein level
Breast milk is the ideal and natural food for every infant.
However, if you cannot or do not wish to breastfeed, the Medical Staff will advise you on infant milk for your child.
Do not change it without asking your doctor’s advice.
Follow-on milk is a part of the diversified diet of infants from 6 months and cannot be used as a breast-milk substitute for the first 6 months of life.
The decision to introduce complementary foods, including before the age of 6 months, should only be made on the advice of a healthcare professional.
Precautions for use:
It is important for your baby’s health to respect the following instructions:
Wash your hands before each preparation.
The bottle should be prepared just before the meal. Throw away any leftover bottle without hesitation.
Use only the measuring spoon contained in this box.
Make sure to close the box and keep it dry for up to 4 weeks after opening.
After the meal, thoroughly clean the bottle and all accessories.
Make sure your baby is comfortable while he takes his bottle.
Preparation of the bottle:
Clean and sterilize bottles and teats carefully (1/4 hour at boiling point or cold in an appropriate device).
Pour in the bottle the necessary amount of water warmed to 40 ° C maximum (weakly mineralized water).
Add the required number of leveled scoops to the water (1 scoop for 30 ml of water).
Close and shake the bottle vigorously. Check the temperature on the inside of your wrist.
