Preparation

 

1.  Wash bottles and teats.  Then sterilise by boiling them for 10 minutes.
2.  Boil fresh drinking water and allow to cool to 40ºC (104ºF).
3.  Before preparing formula, wash your hands. Measure the required amount of
water indicated in the feeding table into the feeding bottle.
4.  Only use scoop from the tin. Add the recommended number of level scoops of
powder indicated in the feeding table.
5.  Cap bottle and shake until powder dissolves.

Feeding Table (for normal healthy infants)​

This feeding table should only be used as a guide. Your baby may need more or less than is shown. If you need more advice, talk to your health professional.

1 scoop = 4.7 g of powder dillutes with 30 ml water.

 

Prepare only one bottle at a time as close as possible to feeding. If you prepare a bottle in advance, keep it in the back of the fridge for a maximum of 12 hours. Throw away any prepared formula after 12 hours. Discard any leftovers after feeding

 

Use only the enclosed scoop.  Improperly prepare formula could cause illness. Do not change the mixing ratio without health professional’s advice.

 

Always hold baby while feeding to avoid risk of chocking. Bottle-feeding preparation must follow strict hygiene rules.

Cup feeding is more hygienic than bottle feeding.

 

Storage ​

Packaged in a protective atmosphere. To maintain freshness close lid tightly after use. Store in a cool dry place (but not in a refrigerator).  Use within 4 weeks of opening. Manufacturing date, best before date (dd/mm/yyyy) and production code are shown on the bottom of the can.
